The Ohio Tenant-Landlord Law applies to most landlord-tenant relationships and governs most rental agreements whether oral or written. This brochure is designed to help you understand your rights and responsibilities under this law. It is not intended to provide definitive legal advice. This brochure contains only the State Law and does not include different city ordinances which may add to local tenant-landlord legislation in those municipalities which have them. Check with your local court house for local laws and updates.
